CTS Eventim has appointed former See Tickets executive Martin Fitzgerald as managing director of Eventim UK.
He will begin his new role at the end of the month and will hold the position alongside John Gibson.
Fitzgerald has joined Eventim UK after 18 years with See Tickets and most recently held the role as chief commercial officer, responsible for overseeing the company’s commercial and marketing strategy.
He said: “As our industry starts to recover, it’s an exciting time to join one of the leading providers of ticketing services and live entertainment. My philosophy has always been to work in partnership with clients, to deliver innovative technology solutions and services on behalf of the event organiser and a seamless and intuitive experience to the fans.

The news comes after CTS Eventim released its 2020 financial report earlier this week. The organisation remains positive for 2021 despite reporting a revenue fall of more than 82 per cent in 2020 to €256.8m (£221m/$305m), which was down from €1.4bn the prior year.
