Liverpool City Council is seeking a new ticketing system provider for The Good Business Festival in 2021.
The event, which produced a digital event in 2020 due to COVID-19 restrictions, is a business summit in Liverpool’s city centre and is delivered in partnership with Culture Liverpool and Hemingway Design.
The Good Business Festival will be taking place in multiple venues across Liverpool City Region on July 7-9, 2021.
The estimated contract dates for ticketing firms run from May 22 to July 31, with a deadline for submissions of 10am on May 4.
The festival said it invites companies to tender for the provision, and hosting, of a multi-purpose back-end ticketing system for approximately 6,000 visitors attending in July 2021.
The quotation must be inclusive of the design and build, hosting and integration of said platform into the front-end system whilst providing varying scales of on-site visitor monitoring and restriction that can be dialled up or down at short notice, depending on COVID-19 contingencies and government guidelines.
The festival’s original plan was to deliver a physical festival in October 2020, but due to COVID-19, the team implemented mitigation plans, pivoting along the way as lockdowns were eased and re-implemented resulting in a successful digital event, viewed in 43 countries worldwide.
The Good Business Festival said in the tender notice: “This is an event for anyone working to make their business more successful in the new mainstream, where already informed consumers are demanding to know more about where their money is going.
“Our target audience is diverse – from CEOs and policymakers to students and fledgling start-ups. The atmosphere will be busy, exciting, vibrant – a real festival – with events taking place in interesting spaces across the city.”
