Tix, the Iceland-based ticketing innovator, has signed another Dutch theatre client: TAQA Theater De Vest.
Described as a “modern, welcoming theatre” in the heart of the city of Alkmaar, TAQA Theater De Vest hosts a wide range of genres every season. In addition, TAQA Theater De Vest organises several free festivals every year and also tickets events at Grote Kerk Alkmaar – the largest and most visited monument of Alkmaar. Formally known as Grote Sint Laurenskerk, it also hosts multiple concerts and art exhibitions throughout the year.
“We are looking forward to collaborate with Tix The system is modern, flexible and ambitious – and so is our organisation,” says a spokesperson for TAQA. “The people of Tix have shown us knowledge and creativity and they have been very communicative. We look forward to work together to achieve our goals and be ready for the future.”
The venue includes a 700 seat main hall, and a smaller 280-seat theatre.
Tix’s Head of Support, Hrefna Sif Jónsdóttir adds: “We look forward to our cooperation and are thankful for the trust these clients put in us.”
This latest Dutch client adds to a growing footprint for Tix in the country. It landed its first client in the Netherlands in February (Theater aan de Parade), followed by Luxor Theatre in Rotterdam in March, and recently announced its partnership with country’s landmark Concertgebouw organisation in Amsterdam.
