Aspire Group extends with USF Bulls after 2020 revenue growth

The Aspire Group has extended its partnership with University of South Florida (USF) Athletics after generating more than $2m in ticket revenue in 2020 despite the global pandemic.

Since partnering with USF’s Bulls in March 2016, Aspire’s Fan Relationship Management Center (FRMC) has generated more than $6.5m in ticket and donation revenue across all ticketed sports, including a 23-per-cent year-on-year uptick last year.

Aspire’s Strategic Consulting and Research department has also assisted the Bulls throughout their partnership with projects ranging from football ticket pricing optimisation to multi-year fan experience research studies.

Tampa-based USF said that through recommendations and collaboration, Aspire has worked to ensure the health of the athletic department and exceptional fan experiences for years to come.

Michael Kelly, USF’s vice president of athletics, said: “USF Athletics is very pleased to extend our successful partnership with The Aspire Sport Marketing Group and their highly effective and enthusiastic team of sales and service consultants working directly with our brand in Tampa. We look forward to continuing a strong and prosperous relationship as we connect with Bulls fans and provide outstanding service for their ticketing needs.”

The Bulls sponsor 17 varsity men’s and women’s teams that compete at the NCAA Division I level in the American Athletic Conference. USF’s varsity teams have won a total of 148 conference championships and six national championships.

The USF Bulls football team plays at Raymond James Stadium, the 75,000-seat home it shares with the NFL’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The venue is set to return to full capacity for the 2021 season.

“The current USF FRMC staff has over a decade of combined sales and service experience and is excited to continue building and growing its partnership with USF in the years ahead,” said Aspire, the sports and entertainment marketing firm which has partnered with more than 260 collegiate and professional sports properties over the last decade.
