SecuTix powers Saatchi Gallery ticketing

SecuTix has become the ticketing technology partner of London’s Saatchi Gallery, one of the UK’s most popular cultural attractions.

The long-term partnership will see the cloud-based ticketing solution support the Chelsea-based gallery, which welcomes more than one million patrons per year, in modernising the visitor experience. The agreement will harness digital and mobile technologies to help the gallery build visitor loyalty and establish one-to-one communications with segmented audience groups.

Saatchi Gallery will harness the SecuTix 360° open-cloud platform which already works with some of Europe’s best-known galleries, including the Centre Pompidou in Paris.

Benan Tumkaya, head of IT at Saatchi Gallery, said: “It is our ambition to build closer relationships with our audiences. In order to achieve this and deliver an accessible digital platform for our visitors and members, we knew that we would need to implement new ways of digitalising the visitor experience.

“SecuTix has a proven track record of helping major cultural institutions overhaul their customer journey, and we look forward to seeing the impact of our partnership.”

The partnership is already up and running with tickets available for the upcoming exhibition for French artist JR, which debuts later this week.

David Hornby, managing director of SecuTix UK, added: “We’re excited to be working with the Saatchi Gallery and helping to realise their digital ambitions. Our vision is to support their digital transformation with a seamless ticketing experience to thrill all their audiences.”

SecuTix was recently selected by the French city of Toulouse to harmonise the ticketing management of over 30 cultural sites welcoming more than one million visitors per year.
