Germany’s MyTicket expands distribution network with Coras

MyTicket.de, one of the leading ticket companies in Germany, has joined forces with ticketing agency Coras to expand its distribution network.

The DEAG-owned firm will now be able to present tickets for attractions, live music and theatre to domestic and international tourists via Coras’ partners, including Europe’s largest airline Ryanair and the UK’s shopping and membership platform Club Rakuten.

Under the partnership, Coras’ solutions offer new channels to drive additional sales and reach new audiences, with the first events already available.

Coras enables online brands to sell tickets for events and activities through a single API integration, with real time access to ticketing inventory.

Moritz Schwenkow, chief executive of MyTicket.de, said: “We are delighted to be working with Coras. As consumers return to live shows and attractions in 2021/22, it is great to expand our distribution channels with a network that includes the biggest online brands in the travel segment.

“Especially for the post-Corona pandemic period, when travel is picking up again, we can offer exciting deals to tourists in numerous cities, be it Christmas Garden, Timeride, Nature One or Syndicate, for example.”

Mark McLaughlin, chief executive of Coras, added: “We are delighted to partner with MyTicket.de to sell their concerts, festivals and attractions through a network of the world’s biggest online brands. Germany is one of the top four live music markets in the world and there is a massive pent-up demand for consumers to be able to attend concerts as pandemic-related restrictions are finally eased this year.”

In April, Coras teamed up with Rakuten Europe to offer member access to buy tickets directly through their membership accounts.
