Lions priority access passes launched for 2025 tour

Lions fans already looking ahead to the Australia tour of 2025 can now secure priority access passes for ticket and travel packages.

Lions Rugby Travel – the British & Irish Lions’ official travel company – has issued the ticket-inclusive travel plans ahead of a general public sale, with the £300 cost of the pass deducted from any package purchase.

The packages include exclusive pre-match events with Lions legends, hand-picked accommodation at all levels, excursions and access to ‘Lions Den’ pre-game parties.

A spokesperson for Lions Rugby Travel said: “It will be the first time the Lions will have travelled Down Under since their celebrated victory against Australia in 2013, with the 2025 tour holding double significance for fans across the UK as one of the first major sporting events abroad to be able to look forward to in a post-pandemic world.”

The Lions are currently touring South Africa and won the first test match at the weekend. Fans are not allowed at any of the three test matches due to Covid-19 restrictions in South Africa.

More than 320,000 ticket applications had been made for the 2021 British & Irish Lions tour’s eight matches by late last year before the ban on spectators was announced.
