Colts offering sportsbook credits with ticket packages

Indianapolis Colts is offering betting credits as part of a new ticket package ahead of the 2021 NFL season.

The new Colts FanDuel Fan Pass, launched by the team and its new official sportsbook partner, includes a choice of four-game ticket packages for $200 at the 67,000-capacity Lucas Oil Stadium for the forthcoming campaign.

As an incentive, those who purchase a package will receive $100 in FanDuel site credits through the operator’s sportsbook app. Each eligible account will receive $25 per game for each game purchased and will receive their credits the week of the game.

Colts described the offer as “a first for an NFL ticket package”.

Fans must be 21 or over to purchase a Colts FanDuel Fan Pass and will get priority for 2021 playoff tickets and 2022 season tickets locations.

Pack A includes games with Seattle, Tennessee, the New York Jets and New England, while Pack B features Los Angeles Rams, Houston, Jacksonville and Las Vegas. Colts said tickets will be located in the Terrace Level and will be assigned 48 hours before each game.

The move comes as the NFL franchise prepares to open two new sports-betting-friendly spaces at Lucas Oil Stadium this season.

US major sports were long-time opponents of legalised betting, which was banned for many years under a federal law until it was ruled unconstitutional in 2018. Since then, as states have opened regulated markets, most teams and leagues have partnered with betting operators.
