BookMyShow has partnered with Roxy Cinemas, Novo Cinemas, and Cinepolis to become the Arabian Gulf’s first online movie ticket aggregator platform.
The Mumbai-headquartered company has also collaborated with Prio Hub, which is a marketplace for tours and activities. This means that those living in and visiting the UAE will be able to see ticket options for more than 250 regional attractions.
UAE residents and visitors can use BookMyShow to book activities such as going to watch the latest movies, swimming with dolphins at Atlantis – The Palm, skiing in the summer, traditional Emirati culture experiences and live performances.
Lawrence Harradine, lead – business, Middle East, BookMyShow UAE, said: “Having built a reputation for delivering a wide range of entertainment choices since since launching in the region in 2019, the introduction of movie and attraction tickets to the platform affirms our intent to establish a one-stop shop for multi-faceted consumer entertainment experiences across the gulf.”
The global ticketing company has also united with Insurancemarket.ae to offer users a 15% discount on tickets for attractions and experiences. All EmiratesNBD card holders will also be able to receive a 15% discount on movies and attractions.
On the growing partnerships, Harradine added: “This move aligns with BookMyShow’s ongoing expansion strategy and extends our appeal to dozens of new consumer demographic verticals. In leveraging decades of technical and operational experience amassed by our India operation, we are very excited to roll-out a greater pool of entertainment options at the click of a button to our growing regional customer base.”
