Seat Unique expands in English football with Plymouth Argyle

Seat Unique has expanded its presence within English football, after announcing a partnership with Plymouth Argyle to provide the club’s online hospitality and premium ticket sales.

The company will power League One side Plymouth’s hospitality and premium sales for home fixtures and concerts taking place at the club’s home ground, Home Park, in a three-year-deal.

Seat Unique will help to bring bookings online and simplify package and ticket purchases for the 18,600-capacity stadium.

James Voisey, Argyle’s partnerships development manager, said: “It’s great to be able to welcome Seat Unique to the Argyle family, and we are excited to work closely together in the years ahead.

“As we all know, expanding the club’s hospitality and events activities at the club is a huge part of our plan to become a sustainable Championship club, and the expertise and platform that Seat Unique provides will help us in that regard.”

The software will allow the club to manage hospitality inventory, which can be accessed by fans through the Seat Unique platform meaning they have increased access to premium experiences.

The deal is the latest for Seat Unique, which recently signed with English League Two club Leyton Orient, and has been associated with a number of Premier League giants including Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea. Seat Unique also boasts prestigious partners in rugby and cricket, including Wales Rugby, Hampshire Cricket and Durham Cricket.

Chief executive and co-founder of Seat Unique, Robin Sherry, added: “I am delighted to welcome Plymouth Argyle onboard. With the steady return of live events, this is a very exciting time to be working with the club. I look forward to football and music fans using our technology to access premium experiences at Home Park.”
