UEFA’s Women’s Euro England 2022 has appointed a group of agencies to help deliver the tournament next year.
M&C Saatchi Sport and Entertainment, MATTAm Threepipe Reply, Two Circles and Heart Productions will work to deliver the tournament. The group of agencies will drive ticket sales, maximise tournament awareness, help to deliver record TV audiences and attract new fans to the women’s game.
Specialist marketing agency M&C Saatchi Sport and Entertainment will work to deliver a PR and communications campaign to raise awareness of the tournament, and encourage fans to purchase tickets and support their home country at the tournament in 2022.
Threepipe Reply will create a paid media strategy for planning and activation for the tournament, with sports, fitness and well-being creative agency MATTA has been appointed to create a ticketing campaign across digital and social media.
Two Circles, a sports data and marketing technology company, will provide consultancy, fan insight and data analytics technology to help drive attendances. There is also a focus on customer experience.
Heart Productions will deliver a promotion programme which hopes to engage with new audiences in the lead up to the Women’s Euros. The campaign is funded by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport with the BBC promoting the operation.
The UEFA Women’s Euro 2022 is set to be the biggest women’s European sport event, with over 700,000 tickets available across 10 venues in England.
The opening match will take place at Old Trafford in Manchester on 6 July and the tournament will end with the final at Wembley 31 July.
