Cheyenne implements AXS technology in new partnership

Outdoor rodeo festival Cheyenne Frontier Days has partnered with ticketing company AXS, allowing customers to utilise AXS technology.

The iconic western event takes place each July in Cheyenne, Wyoming and hosts the world’s largest outdoor rodeo where professionals participate for the chance to win $1m (£735,000/€866,000).

Western fans and ticket holders can now use the AXS Mobile ID technology through the AXS App which provides contactless and personalised fan experiences.

Identity-based solutions from AXS will also provide real-time data feeds to aid in decision-making. Cheyenne Frontier Days will also use the AXS Anywhere distribution platform to reach both new and existing buyers.

Tom Hirsig, Cheyenne Frontier Days chief executive, said: “Our goal is to provide our annual visitors with the best possible experience from the time they purchase a ticket to when they walk through our gates.

“To do that, we need a partner who will bring the latest in technology and support to our organisation. We look forward to our partnership with AXS deploying the enterprise solutions they bring to the partnership.”

Chief revenue officer for AXS Rob Sine added: “We are excited to add Cheyenne Frontier Days to our stable of world-class rodeo partners alongside the legendary Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo, Ogden Pioneer Days, Day of ’47 and the Calgary Stampede.

“Each partner is unique and gives us the opportunity to collaborate and scale our offerings to grow their business. Bringing best-in-class solutions to these legendary western events demonstrates our scale, flexibility and personal touch to each partner in our portfolio.”

AXS also recently partnered with indie Seattle music venues Neumos and Barboza, adding to its Seattle music venue portfolio.
