Live entertainment company Live Nation has added to its venue portfolio with Music Farm in Charleston, South Carolina, as well as announcing the opening date and initial line-up for The Echo Lounge & Music Hall in Dallas.
The 1,000-capacity Dallas club has been developed in partnership with entrepreneur Mark Cuban and the NBA’s Dallas Mavericks, which Cuban owns.
Michael Rapino, chief executive of Live Nation Entertainment, said: “The Echo Lounge & Music Hall is going to be a great new venue for artists to play in Dallas. There’s lots of opportunity to bring more concerts to the city, and we really value having the hometown partnership with Mark Cuban and the Mavericks in creating this space.”
Cuban added: “I’m super excited for the opening of the Echo Lounge & Music Hall. This takes the Design District to the next level in its move towards being an entertainment destination. And, with the tunnel between the American Airlines Center side and Design District side of the highway being finished, it will be an exciting post-game place to have fun and see live shows.”
The Echo Lounge & Music Hall will open its doors from November 1 and the concert line-up includes acts such as Jeremy Zucker with Del Water Gap and Madison Beer with Maggie Lindemann and Audriix.
Alongside National Shows 2 (NS2) which is a Nashville-based concert promotion company and FPC, a joint venture between Live Nation and concert promotion business Frank Productions, Live Nation has added Music Farm to its portfolio.
Live Nation will book Music Farm, which is set to reopen in 2022, in collaboration with the NS2 talent team, while FPC Live will manage and operate the club, which has a capacity of 650.
Grant Lyman, president of Live Nation Southeast, said: “We are thrilled to be bringing The Music Farm back in 2022 with great new experiences for artists and fans. The Music Farm has been part of the fabric of the city for decades and we look forward to containing that legacy as Live Nation helps more artists connect with their fans in Charleston.”
Darin Lashinsky, president of NS2, added: “We’re excited to welcome the Music Farm to the NS2 and FPC Live family. The music scene in Charleston is vibrant and the Music Farm will play an important role in developing local and national acts.
“This venue has a 30-year history of hosting many breakout artists and we are thrilled to keep growing the live music offerings and giving guests and performers an upgraded experience.”
