New Orleans attraction utilises Gateway solutions

Vue Orleans, an indoor and outdoor observatory and cultural exhibit in New Orleans, has chosen to implement Gateway Ticketing Systems’ Galaxy Ticketing and Guest Experience solutions.

The exhibit features a 360-degree panorama riverfront view of New Orleans and is located in the former World Trade Center building. Vue Orleans will initially launch the Galaxy Ticketing Point-of-Sale and the eGalaxy Web Store from the ticketing software company to sell tickets on site as well as online.

Vue Orleans will also utilise Galaxy Connect, a cloud-based platform that allows management to sell live, gate-ready tickets through online travel agencies.

Peter Wolf, director of sales and marketing at Gateway Ticketing Systems, said: “We’re excited to be working with Vue Orleans and their incredible operations and IT teams. We love working with a brand-new attraction, watching their venue develop, and helping address many of the challenges they face leading up to opening.

“We’re also proud to be a small part of the grand history of this building and the surrounding area.”

Vue Orelans will also implement CRM Plus, a customer relationship management tool that integrates directly with the Galaxy product. CRM Plus collects data from each transaction and updates the guest’s contact record, providing information on customers’ behaviours and allowing Vue to provide a personalised experience.
