Goldenvoice, the AEG Presents-owned promoter of flagship US festival Coachella, has announced a new summer music festival.
The alternative country event, Palomino Festival, will be held for one day on July 9 at Brookside at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California.
The festival line-up includes country artists such as Willie Nelson and Family, Kacey Musgraves and Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit among others.

Goldenvoice also promotes Stagecoach Festival, a country music festival held on the same grounds as Coachella a week later.
The festival will feature a vintage clothing marketplace and a line-up that will not only celebrate country music, but genres like folk, pop and bluegrass.
The presale for tickets will begin this Friday at 12pm PDT with remaining tickets going on general sale at 4pm.
Goldenvoice talent buyer Stacy Vee said: “It has been a dream for as long as I can remember to do a festival taking a modern, fresh approach to today’s al-country music.
“Artists in the space have been pushing boundaries, creating sounds that are brand new. I wanted to fan these flames and celebrate this changing culture. We at Goldenvoice love doing things ‘our own way,’ and there are a lot of artists out there right now doing the same thing. We came together to celebrate carving your own path: this is Palomino.”
