FKP Scorpio opts for CM.com-owned Appmiral

Festival, tour and concert promoter FKP Scorpio has opted for CM(.com)-owned Appmiral as its app provider in a multi-year partnership.

Integration of the app at events will offer users access to features such as interactive maps to navigate festival grounds more easily and push notifications to deliver information to attendees, before and after the event.

Jennifer Lorch, team lead, digital marketing at FKP Scorpio, said: “We are very much looking forward to offering our guests a user-centered experience in every aspect of our festivals. The smart and seamless features of the apps are a vital part to make this happen.”

The partnership has come into effect immediately and FKP Scorpio apps are already running on the latest version of Appmiral’s framework. The first events to utilise the app include ELBJAZZ, which takes place in Hamburg this weekend, and Tempelhof Sounds in Berlin from June 10-12.

Other events to utilise the app include Germany’s Hurricane Festival, Southside Festival and M’era Luna.

Robin van den Bergh, managing director of Appmiral, said: “Working together with a big international party as FKP Scorpio embodies the maturity and high level of quality that our platform has to offer these days. Our team’s endless efforts in building the best UX besides adding the ultimate flexibility in our CMS and backend tooling results in partnerships with great parties like this.

“We couldn’t be more proud of adding iconic festivals like Hurricane, Tempelhof Sounds, or Deichbrand to our growing portfolio.”

Experience event app platform Appmiral was acquired by Netherlands-based cloud software company CM(.com) in November last year.
