FanRally has announced a partnership with Major League Baseball (MLB)’s Houston Astros to offer fans subscription seat reservation privileges through a ‘Moon Shot’ monthly subscription program.
The deal begins today (Monday) with a home game against the Seattle Mariners and will run until the end of the regular season in early October.
FanRally is a ticketless subscription software platform and the partnership aims to deliver membership options designed for younger fans, while also providing value and flexibility.
P.J Keene, vice-president of ticket sales and service at the Astros, said: “Our partnership with FanRally allows us to deliver a flexible membership option specifically designed for younger fans.
“The Moon Shot Plans will provide fans the opportunity to decide when they want to come each month while still providing great value, access, and most importantly, flexibility.”
FanRally co-founder and chief executive Chris Giles added: “We are thrilled to partner with the Houston Astros to power their ticketless subscriptions. The Astros were very thoughtful in designing this program for today’s fan and I’m thrilled we could bring their vision to life on the FanRally Platform.”
FanRally already powers ticketless subscriptions for a number of sports teams and universities including MLB’s Milwaukee Brewers and American Hockey League (AHL)’s Ontario Reign, as well as Stanford University, University of South Carolina, University of Pittsburgh and Villanova University.
In September last year, FanRally announced a partnership with the National Hockey League (NHL)’s LA Kings and ticketing platform AXS.
