The World Games 2022 introduces day pass

The World Games 2022 has revealed a day pass that will enable fans to see multiple sports for just $35 (£28/€33).

The Games is a multi-sport tournament that will be taking place in Birmingham, Alabama and is staged every four years by the International World Games Association, with support from the International Olympic Committee. The event will welcome some 3,600 athletes from over 100 countries from July 7-17.

Fans purchasing a day pass will be able to witness a variety of sports including lacrosse, archery, softball and bowling and more.

Day passes for The World Games are only available for a limited amount of time and can be purchased from Ticketmaster.

The World Games 2022 chief executive Nick Sellers said: “The World Games 2022 is an incredible, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to watch amazing sports and athletes in-person, and we want to be able to offer that opportunity to as many as possible. That’s the idea behind the $35 Day Pass.

“Fans with a Day Pass can see as many exciting competitions in a single day as they want. And with our Ride the Line system, they can get free rides to most venues.

“The ability to buy a ticket and then choose from the complete menu of sports competitions is a huge benefit to fans.”

The event was due to take place last year, but was postponed to 2022 because of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
