Chelsea opens up season ticket applications to members

Premier League club Chelsea has opened applications for members to apply for 2022-23 season tickets at Stamford Bridge.

The London club has also enabled existing season ticket holders and members to apply to join the UEFA away scheme, ahead of Chelsea’s Champions League campaign next season.

Applications for a 2022-23 season ticket are open to members from the 2021-22 season who accumulated 147 loyalty points or more.

Season ticket holders and members that are not already on the UEFA away scheme are now able to apply to join. Forms have to be downloaded and posted to the ticket office to arrive by 5pm GMT on Wednesday July 13.

Chelsea has said that if applications are over-subscribed then positions will be allocated to those that have the most loyalty points from the 2021-22 season. There are 250 places available on the scheme for season ticket holders and 80 places for members. There are a further 21 places for disabled supporters.

Last month, Chelsea announced that it would be keeping general admission tickets the same price as 2021-22, and that it had removed booking fees.

Chelsea was unable to sell tickets towards the end of last season, after previous Russian owner Roman Abramovich was sanctioned following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

Only season ticket holders could attend games, however the UK Government later made a change to the licence that allowed the club to continue to run and let Chelsea sell tickets to away games, cup matches and women’s fixtures. The proceeds were donated to relief efforts in Ukraine.
