Live entertainment company Live Nation is launching its ‘Ones to Watch’ global artist discovery platform in Singapore.

The initiative has already been implemented across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region including Australia, New Zealand, China and most recently, Hong Kong.

The new Ones to Watch Singapore program will help to showcase the talent of Southeast Asian emerging local artists. Musicians are able to connect with fans and give their budding career the push that it needs through Live Nation’s network.

Ones to Watch was first launched in the US in 2017 and the platform includes exclusive interviews, playlists, live performances and other content surrounding music.

The platform has helped to kick-start the careers of global artists such as Dua Lipa, Halsey, Yungblood and LANY.

Ones to Watch Singapore will begin with a live showcase event on September 26 at Scape, with performances from Singapore’s Soph T and J.M3, and Malaysia’s Muzza. The event will take place at the All That Matter event, which is a conference by day and a music festival by night.

KwangHwa Ngiam, managing director of Live Nation Singapore, said: “The launch of Ones To Watch Singapore will play a vital role in launching world-class Singaporean talent onto an international stage.

“The program provides these emerging artists the opportunity to connect with music fans and leverage Live Nation’s global network to develop their professional careers within the music industry.”
