The National Basketball Association (NBA) has launched the reimagined NBA App along with NBA ID, a new membership program offering fans benefits and rewards from the league, teams and partners.

NBA ID is free to join and will link experiences across the league’s existing products like NBA League Pass and NBA Pick’Em. Throughout the season, NBA ID members will gain access to new original content and fan favourites from the NBA vault.

There are also members-only experiences from a range of NBA partners, including ticket promotions, prizes through sweepstake-style NBA Pick’Em fantasy games, voting campaigns and other rewards.

The NBA App is powered by the league’s new integrated digital platform, which was built in partnership with official cloud and Artificial Intelligence (AI) partner Microsoft. The league’s direct-to-consumer offerings such as the NBA League Pass and NBA TV will also be integrated into the app.

Chris Benyarko, NBA executive vice-president, direct-to-consumer, said: “Launching our new NBA App and digital platform is a major milestone as we continue to build and strengthen our direct-to-consumer offerings.

“We are thrilled to deliver a reimagined product that will enhance and personalise the way NBA fans engage with the league on a daily basis.”
