Usher revealed as surprise headline act for Abu Dhabi Grand Prix concert series

R&B artist Usher has been revealed as another headliner for the Abu Dhabi Formula 1 Grand Prix’s post-race concert. 

The Yasalam After-Race Concert series will also welcome British rapper Dave, electronic dance group Swedish House Mafia, US rapper Kendrick Lamar and Rock band Def Leppard.

Dave and Usher are set to perform on Thursday night, while Swedish House Mafia will perform on Friday night. Kendrick Lamar and Def Leppard hold the Saturday and Sunday slots at Etihad Park.

The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix will take place from November 17-20 at the Yas Marina Circuit, and is the final race on the 2022 Formula 1 calendar.

All ticket-holders will be able to access Thursday’s concert featuring Dave and Usher, while one-day ticket-holders can access the concert on the day of their ticket as well as Thursday’s concert.

Two-day ticket-holders will have access to the concerts on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday and three-day ticket-holders will have access to all four concerts.

Abu Dhabi GP ticket-holders also have the opportunity to upgrade to Golden Circle access, and three-day ticket-holders are eligible for a four-night package upgrade at a discounted price. Packages include fast-track entry, dedicated beverage points and near-stage access.

Upgrade prices begin at AED195 (£46/€53/$53) for Dave and Usher, AED 295 for Swedish House Mafia and Kendrick Lamar, AED 395 for Def Leppard and AED945 for a four-night package.
