Monumental Sports and Entertainment (MSE) has revealed that TicketManager will become its official corporate ticket management and corporate ticket re-sale enablement partner.

MSE is the owner and operator of the National Hockey League (NHL)’s Washington Capitals, National Basketball Association (NBA)’s Washington Wizards and WNBA’s Washington Mystics.

As part of the multi-year deal, TicketManager will provide its technology and services to all MSE corporate clients including partners, suite-holders, corporate season ticket members and club seat-holders.

MSE clients will benefit from TicketManager’s technology at no cost, while also leveraging Monumental Sports’ partnership with Ticketmaster to encourage responsible corporate re-sale.

Corporate customers can use TicketManager’s technology for all of their ticket inventory across every team in Greater DC and Baltimore. Users can transfer tickets to guests and re-sell unused tickets.

Jim Van Stone, president, business operations and chief commercial officer at Monumental Sports, said: “Monumental Sports continuously seeks the best tools for our valued corporate ticket-holders to maximise their investments with the Capitals, Wizards and Mystics. TicketManager provides unmatched technology that has already positively impacted many of our clients.

“We are excited to now provide TicketManager to all of our corporate clients to help them increase utilisation and prove the ROI.”

Tony Knopp, co-founder and chief executive of TicketManager, added: “Together we are changing the game in company sports tickets and entertainment. Companies are demanding more from their investment in tickets and suites. They want a return on their investment and Monumental Sports is the perfect partner to deliver the best experience to companies of all sizes.”

Clients will be able to use TicketManager’s tools to help sell unused tickets by automatically pricing the tickets, and handling fulfilment and delivery.

Knopp added: “Companies want, and sometimes need, to re-sell their unused tickets. And this partnership will help companies of all sizes get the most out of their tickets, whether giving to a guest or re-selling responsibly when they need to. We are very excited.”
