Metallica’s Helping Hands concert

Streaming platform Paramount+ will stream Metallica’s ‘Helping Hands’ concert, which benefits the band’s All Within My Hands foundation. The concert, which is taking place at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, will stream via the platform in the US and Canada on December 16. It will then be available to stream in the UK, Latin America, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Austria and France on December 17, Australia on December 18 and South Korea in 2023. The concert will also be simulcast on Pluto TV globally and on YouTube. 

Concerts on TikTok

Electronic duo Bicep will broadcast their upcoming show at London’s Alexandra Palace on December 2 live on video social media platform, TikTok. 

Bicep will perform four new tracks for their two sold-out shows as part of the platform’s new #ElectronicMusic Presents series. The show will be broadcast on Bicep’s official channel and will include on and off-stage footage. It will be produced by Pixl.

Exploring the Metaverse and Web3

Lamina1, the Layer 1 blockchain optimised for the open Metaverse, recently opened online ticketing for the Open Metaverse Conference. The event will bring together leaders, creators and innovators in the Metaverse and Web3 to build a more immersive and open online world. 

The conference will place February 8-9 in Los Angeles next year both in-person and virtually. It will feature keynote speeches, panel discussions, fireside chats, debates, roundtables, pitch sessions, demos, live entertainment and more. 

NFT ticketing 

Virtual events hosting platform FanRoom Live has partnered with Abante Productions to make its event tickets available worldwide via the GameStop NFT (non-fungible token) marketplace, as well as the event series which will now stream on the GameStop Marketplace. 

Fans will be able to immerse themselves in future events and meet with their favourite celebrities with NFT blockchain tickets. FanRoom has already started offering limited edition NFT tickets for its next virtual meet and greet on December 10.
