The Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) has launched mobile ticketing for the 2022-23 Cazoo World Darts Championship.

Tickets will be available through the new PDC Tickets App, in a bid to improve fan experience, security and sustainability across darts events. The app will offer fans the ability to access mobile tickets through their smartphone.

The PDC is making its move to mobile ticketing to continue the organisation’s digital transformation. This also includes the introduction of live streaming on PDCTV and the launch of the Official PDC App in recent years.

Fans that have purchased tickets for the upcoming 2022-23 Cazoo World Darts Championship will receive their tickets in the new ticketing app, once they have created an account. The mobile tickets replace the need for paper or print-at-home tickets.

Organisers recommend having one ticket per device, meaning buyers can transfer tickets to friends, family or guests in their group once they have also downloaded the app.

Guests will then be able to scan their smartphone on arrival at the 10,400-capacity Alexandra Palace in London.

The World Darts Championship begins on Thursday, December 15 and will run until January 3.
