Sydney-based ticketing company IWannaTicket has renewed its partnership with the Royal Canberra Show.

The annual event will run from February 24-26 next year, with tickets to go on sale in mid-January.

Geoff Canock, chief executive of Royal National Capital Agricultural Society (RNCAS), said: “The RNCAS largely consists of a team of dedicated volunteers who give their time to help stage one of Australia’s biggest Royal Show events. IWannaTicket’s experience and expertise is of enormous value to me and my small team. From the online sales to the box office, to the issuing of crew passes, and on the ground event and entry management.

“Their support is wide ranging and readily available. Royal Shows around the country have had to deal with some very challenging conditions and the Royal Canberra Show is no exception. But we’re determined to bring the people of the ACT and surrounding areas a Royal Show to remember, and IWannaTicket will be with us all the way.”

Jonathan Namey, owner and founder of IWannaTicket, added: “It’s incredibly exciting to see the Royal Canberra Show return in 2023. Geoff and the RNCAS team do an extraordinary job putting together an event on par with the best in Australia, and IWannaTicket is extremely proud to be a part of this vital institution.

“Our wealth of experience with this event and other Royal Show events around the country means we have a deep understanding of the challenges involved and the support necessary. The IWannaTicket system is ideal for events with such complex and unique requirements. There’s a lot more to it than just selling tickets.”
