Sports betting app BetMGM is testing the waters by selling tickets to its first West Fest, kicking off the festivities for this year’s Super Bowl.
The outdoor concert will feature performances from country artists Tim McGraw and Bailey Zimmerman at Glendale’s Westgate Entertainment District.
Super Bowl LVII is set to take place on Sunday, February 12 at State Farm Stadium (pictured), with West Fest taking place the day before.
General admission tickets, priced at $57 (£47/€53), went on sale for BetMGM customers in Arizona yesterday (Wednesday), with these pre-sale tickets available for 24 hours through BetMGM’s mobile app.
Event tickets went on sale to the public today (Thursday) through a different website, with VIP ticketing options available.
Adam Greenblatt, chief executive of BetMGM, said: “BetMGM will make history this February when we become the first live sportsbook on the Big Game’s stadium campus. Entertainment is at the core of BetMGM and we’re going all out with a larger-than-life concert that will be one of the weekend’s marquee events.”
The Westgate Entertainment District is located near State Farm Stadium, with concert attendees able to enjoy a mix of national and local restaurants, along with an open-air beer garden near the stage.
Jessica Kubicki, director of marketing for YAM Properties, which owns the Westgate Entertainment District, added: “The Big Game is back in our hometown of Glendale and we are thrilled to work with such a dynamic partner, BetMGM, to amplify our centre’s mission, ‘where fun happens’. The game is in our backyard which means we will create the ultimate experience with top-tier talent for both local and traveling sports fans to enjoy.”
