Warner Bros France subsidiary Décibels Productions has acquired a majority stake in French talent agency Les Visiteurs du Soir.

Live entertainment and concert production company Décibels said it will run the agency, whose clients include domestic and international artists, in collaboration with existing stakeholder Morgane Production, while Olivier Gluzman remains managing director.

Les Visiteurs du Soir has worked with Rufus Wainwright, Agnès Jaoui, Imany and Paolo Conte.

Décibels Productions president Pierre-Alexandre Vertadier said the deal will have a beneficial impact on France’s live events industry.

Vertadier said: “Les Visiteurs du Soir’s knowledge will be an undeniable added value for Décibels Productions. The joining of our networks should enable multiple synergies. I’m sure many artists will be able to find themselves in this new project, both for the international development of their career and for the creation of innovative artistic projects.

“This acquisition testifies to a desire affirmed by Décibels Productions to further consolidate its position on the production market and of the broadcasting of shows in France. Also to provide the best possible service to artists.”

Paris-headquartered Décibels was established nine years ago and organises concerts, comedy shows and musicals.

Les Visiteurs du Soir managing director Gluzman said: “Les Visiteurs du Soir is more than 30 years old. We’ve continuously evolved – notably when Morgane Production invested in us with the aim of creating bridges between our artists and its excellence in producing festivals and the wider audiovisual sphere.

“Now we’ll be harnessing new synergies in this deal with Décibels. It’ll enable our artists tap into its production skills and global network. I’ve always appreciated the stress Pierre-Alexandre places on the importance of relationships as part of doing business, so we are well suited to working together.”
