Mustard Media has helped clients sell 1.5 million tickets in 2022 according to the events marketing agency.
The Manchester-headquartered firm worked with over 100 festivals, events, venues and exhibitions across 13 countries in the 2022 financial year. The 1.5 million ticket sales for clients is an uplift of 150% from the previous year’s 600,000 tickets.
In 2023, Mustard Media plans to continue its growth in the UK and internationally, driving ticket sales for an increasing range of live events like music, festivals, outdoors, exhibitions and sports.
The business celebrated success in 2022, namely for a campaign it delivered for Christmas at Bute Park in Cardiff, which saw 40,000 tickets sold in 48 hours. The campaign won ‘Best Use of Paid Social’ at the Campaign Tech Awards, three Global Eventex awards and was shortlisted at three other ceremonies.
Robert Masterson, managing director of Mustard Media, said: “We are incredibly proud of last year’s results. We weathered the toughest years in our history during the pandemic and have worked incredibly hard to get where we are today.
“Having worked with over 100+ festivals and events last year, we’re excited about our plans to grow the agency this year on solid foundations. While we recognise that it may be another challenging year for the events industry, we’re already helping our clients get some of the strongest sales they’ve seen.
He added: “We’re confident that our ability to adapt and strategise will ensure that we’re able to help our clients prosper.”
