The Vitality Netball World Cup 2023 Local Organising Committee (LOC) has opened the second phase of ticket sales ahead of this summer’s event.

Netball fans are now able to secure tickets for all 60 matches including the semi-finals, bronze medal match and the final.

The Netball World Cup is set to take place in Cape Town from July 28 to August 6 and will feature teams from 16 different countries.

Hosts Netball South Africa recently welcomed Australia, New Zealand and England for the recent Quad Series at the Cape Town International Convention Centre, which will also be a venue for the upcoming Netball World Cup.

Priscilla Masisi, tournament director, said: “The Quad series has indeed given the LOC an opportunity to have a dry run and identify opportunities to ensure our athletes and fans have a memorable world class experience, and we are not indeed far off in terms of our state of readiness in hosting this upcoming international spectacle with effect from July – August this year.

“Together with our title sponsor Vitality, our premium sponsors Telkom and Spar, and our partners including the South African government, we take this opportunity to call upon the global netball family and all South Africans, irrespective of whether they are netball fans, to go out there and buy their tickets whilst time permits because we are ready.”

There will be a range of tickets available across the tournament at gold, silver and bronze levels, with prices starting from 500 ZA (£23/€26/$28).
