Subscription membership for live events, FestivalPass, has partnered with Spin magazine to create a mobile content studio, as well as a VIP experience at a concert.

Ahead of SXSW 2023 in Austin, Texas – which is currently running until Sunday – FestivalPass and Spin transformed a bus into a co-branded content space for Spin editors and producers to interview music’s biggest artists during the festival this week.

FestivalPass will also join Spin as a VIP partner for its concert at Stubbs BBQ on March 16, which will feature a headline performance from artist Killer Mike. Tickets to the FestivalPass VIP section are only available to FestivalPass Lifetime Founder Membership NFT holders.

This NFT (non-fungible token) offers holders $1,200 (£900/€1,100) in credits to redeem to over 80,000 live events annually. The holders have access to this total every year to spend on events.

Ed Vincent, founder and chief executive of FestivalPass, said: “We have come together to create a mobile content studio debuting during SXSW with plans to take it on the road to events and festivals across the nation.

“We are also doubling down on local partnerships in Austin to bring dozens of local music acts to live stages, all of which will be announced soon.”

He added: “We are excited to partner with Spin, one of the most iconic brands in music to bring both a bucket list fan experience and innovative mobile content studio to Austin and beyond. It is a brand partnership made in heaven.”
