Sydney venue Selina's has announced its return following an extensive period of renewal and renovations.
The venue is set to open its doors from Monday, April 24, with owners and hospitality group C-INC aiming to build relationships with performers, event producers and brands.
The refurbished and rebranded venue features a scalable capacity of 400 up to 1,750, and boasts in-house concert-level audio and visual production supply; a large rear-of-stage mobile LED screen; all-new flooring throughout the venue; improved access points; branded architectural design installations and renovated stage facilities.
Creative direction and design was powered by Frame Creative and Grand North, while the venue is set to utilise ticketing solutions and sales support through Ticketmaster-owned Moshtix.
Selina’s is located oceanside in Coogee Bay adjacent to Coogee Bay Hotel, in Sydney. Prior to its renovation, the venue hosted performances from the likes of Nirvana, Radiohead, Sex Pistols, The Killers and more over the years.
David Gregory, Coogee Bay Hotel general manager, said: “We are thrilled to reactivate live entertainment at Selina’s and to contribute towards building a strong entertainment and events precinct within the eastern suburbs of Sydney.
“We’re proud to offer a premium venue addition to Australia’s entertainment and events industry. We hope that Selina’s contributes to strengthening the live economy and nurtures talent by providing a flexible space with carefully planned facilities and a highly skilled team, dedicated to making performers, producers and patrons time at the venue the best that it can be.
“Selina’s activation is a win for the wider events and entertainment industry, artists, creators and fans across the city and beyond.”
The venue also offers its own boutique accommodation on site and is located alongside several bars and a restaurant, all housed within the Coogee Bay Hotel.
