Augusta National Golf Club announced yesterday (Wednesday) the launch of a new Masters hospitality experience.

In a statement on The Masters’ website, organisers said: “The Official Masters Hospitality Experience will offer guests authentic tickets to enjoy all the action of the tournament, with the ease and comfort afforded by the only official tournament hospitality venue just outside the gates of Augusta National.”Fans will be able to witness the first phase of the new spot at next year’s event.

The announcement of the new hospitality venture also marked the 10-year anniversary of the launch of Berckmans Place, which is a 90,000 square foot, multi-level exclusive hospitality experience located near the fifth fairway.

Berckmans boasts gourmet restaurants and putting greens, much like those outside on the big course.

The chairman added that the new Augusta hospitality centre will be located across Washington Road, which runs along the Augusta National Golf Club.

As reported by Sports Illustrated, Augusta National chairman Fred Ridley said: “We’re confident demand for this offering will exceed the supply of tickets.”
