Formula One driver Kevin Magnussen has partnered with online ticket and travel company, Global-Tickets.
Magnussen, who races for Haas F1 team, and Groningen-based Global-Tickets will work together to leverage the social media channels of the Danish driver to better connect with fans.
Part of the deal will see Magnussen’s social media followers also have access to a unique Formula 1 experience.
“We are super excited and proud to team up with Kevin Magnussen,” said founder and chief executive of Global-Tickets, Sascha Zielinski. “Together, we are redefining the boundaries of what is possible in the world of sports and entertainment, providing fans with access and excitement second to none.”
Magnussen added: “Watching Formula One races live was what fuelled my passion for the sport as a child, and I’m happy to start a collaboration with Global-Tickets who make such experiences happen for race fans all over the world.”
While Magnussen suffered a DNF at last weekend’s Australian Grand Prix, organisers saw record-breaking crowds descend on Albert Park in Melbourne.
