Secutix, a provider of digital solutions for the events industry, has partnered with Adyen, a financial technology platform, to launch in-house payment solution S-Pay.

S-Pay is centralised system offering end-to-end ticket payment processing for every sales channel and payment method, supported by Adyen.

Secutix has opted to utilise the fintech company’s Adyen for Platforms solution to provide a seamless payment experience with stronger capabilities to tackle ticket fraud. The Adyen system allows customers to pay using their preferred and trusted methods, making the payment process more convenient.

Adyen and Secutix have developed S-Pay to help solve payment problems and detect attempted fraud by using Adyen’s proprietary AI (artificial intelligence).

S-Pay will also provide real-time information on the status of each transaction and automated breakdowns of box office and online ticket store payments, including when and how these payments were made.

“We chose to partner with Adyen because it’s a best-in-class payment solution,” said Frédéric Longatte, chief executive of Secutix.

“Every year brings new payment methods and regulations to the ticketing market. Thanks to this partnership, S-Pay will keep evolving to ensure our clients are always up to date with the latest legislation and technologies. Working with Adyen will help us better serve our clients’ needs and offer ticket buyers a more streamlined payment experience.”

Edouard Coiraton, vice-president of platforms and marketplaces at Adyen, added: “Event-goers are demanding greater transparency and a seamless buying experience. This partnership will help achieve that by providing Secutix event providers with a choice of payment methods that can be added with a click of a button. In that way, they can ensure their checkout experience is as frictionless and accurate as possible.
