Chicago’s Bronzeville Neighbourhood Jazz Festival has partnered with INSID3RS to utilise its blockchain ticketing and gamification solution.

The second annual jazz event is presented by Bronzeville Helping Hand 501C-3 non-profit, along with sponsors Mariano’s/Kroger, CIBC, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Provident Bank and CIBC Bank to name a few.

Bronzeville Neighbourhood Jazz Festival is set to take place on August 5, and will feature talent from across the US. Artists including Joan Collaso, Buddy Fambro, Marquel Joran and Will Fultz Band featuring Skinny Williams are set to perform.

INSID3RS will provide its blockchain ticketing platform to allow organisers to offer tickets with an added layer of security, as tickets cannot be duplicated or counterfeited. Festival organisers are also hoping to deepen engagement with attendees by providing blockchain-based utility.

This will include free historic figure NFT (non-fungible token) artwork for all attendees, collectible rare digital artwork based on exhibitor engagement and free video clips from performers at the festival.

Free tickets for the festival are already live through INSID3RS.

Festival director Frank Goss said: “We are thrilled to partner with INSID3RS.io for this year’s festival. Their easy-to-use blockchain ticketing platform, along with their ability to gamify any experience, made them the clear choice for us. We’re able to engage with our attendees on a whole new level and provide those same benefits right back to our sponsors.”

INSID3RS chief executive Adam Reichental added: “We’re excited to bring the benefits of blockchain ticketing to the Bronzeville Neighbourhood Jazz Festival. As a free event and a non-profit organisation, we’re proud to be a presenting partner of the festival and to help create an unforgettable experience for attendees.”
