Manchester’s new venue Co-op Live has appointed Gary Roden as executive director and general manager. 

Roden spent eight years at Ticketmaster UK, most recently as the senior vice-president of client development and commercial.

Connect & Go, a provider of integrated attractions management solutions and RFID technology, has welcomed six new equity partners in the form of its senior leadership team. The move will help the company to continue its expansion across the US, Europe and Canada

Director of deployment and customer success Myriam Blanchette; Ariane Desrosiers director of people and culture; Marc-André Dubé, director of product management; director of finance Virachay Maly; François-Pierre Moffet, chief operating officer and Tara Morandi, senior vice-president of sales and marketing, have all become equity partners.

Conservative Member of Parliament (MP) for Maldon in the UK, Sir John Whittingdale, is set to act as Minister of State for the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) and the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT). 

He is covering Minister Julia Lopez, who is on maternity leave. Whittingdale was previously the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport from 2025 until July 206, and the Minister of State for DCMS between February 2020 until September 2021. 

Australian independent music end events company Untitled has appointed a new general manager. 

Former Live Nation executive Andrew White is set to take on the role.
