Africa’s football federation has launched an invitation to tender for a ticketing services provider for next year’s Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) is looking for a partner to run the ticketing operation for the 2023 AFCON, which will be played in early 2024. More details can be found here.

All final technical and financial bids must be submitted to CAF by 12pm (Cairo time) on May 24, with any questions related to the tender process needing to be sent by May 10.

CAF said the winning bidder will perform a number of duties in the run up to and during the tournament, including development of a ticketing strategy and plan and provision of a web and mobile ticket app for fans to purchase tickets. The winning bid will also have responsibility for control management in all venues, fan zones management, and provision of on-site ticket sales and distribution services.

The 2023 AFCON will take place in five cities across Ivory Coast – Abidjan, Yamoussoukro, Bouake, Korhogo and San-Pedro – but will actually be played in January and February 2024 because of concerns about the rainy season in the host country.
