The deals bring SeatGeek’s partnership roster to 12 clubs within US football’s second-tier USL, while the addition of Oakland Soul Sports Club takes the ticketing group’s USL W roster to four teams.
The Oakland teams are currently using Tickets(.com), while USL expansion team Rhode Island — which will join the league next year — is kicking off with SeatGeek as its first ticketer. The ticketing integrations will kick off with each club’s 2024 season ticket onsales.
“When we were searching for the right ticket platform to kick off our inaugural season, we wanted a company with a track record of innovation,” said Vicky Lynch, Rhode Island FC’s chief revenue officer. “We are optimistic that SeatGeek will make it easy for us to give fans a seamless matchday experience while also helping us target new customers and grow the beautiful game in our community.”
SeatGeek signed a league partnership deal with the USL last year while adding five new clubs as clients. Rhode Island FC and Roots/Soul SC have now joined these clubs as SeatGeek partners, with each looking to take advantage of the platform’s fan-friendly features and backend business insights.
SeatGeek already tickets eight Major League Soccer clubs, three National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) clubs, and several English Premier League teams, including Manchester City, Liverpool and Newcastle United.

Rhode Island FC will begin play in March 2024 in its temporary venue, Beirne Stadium on the campus of Bryant University, while its permanent home stadium is completed for the 2025 season. The Stadium at Tidewater Landing in downtown Pawtucket will be a state-of-the-art stadium with a 10,000+ capacity.
