Rebecca Lott has departed Ticketmaster UK to become ticketing director at Manchester’s new Co-op Live arena ahead of its grand opening next year.
Lott (pictured left) most recently held the position of senior director – strategic accounts at Ticketmaster, which has been her employer for the last 10 years. In her new role, she will be responsible for delivering the strategic and commercial ticketing aims for Oak View Group’s arena, which is to open in spring 2024.
Lott announced the move on LinkedIn, saying: “After 10 years at Ticketmaster UK, I have taken a fantastic and unique opportunity to work as ticketing director for a brand-new arena, Co-op Live.
“Huge thank you to all my Ticketmaster friends and colleagues for the support over the years, and to the clients I had the pleasure of partnering with. Your passion for what you do has prompted me to move a step closer to the action, and I am both excited and proud to be working on what will truly be a world-class and game-changing venue.”
James Massing has returned to Live Nation Entertainment as senior vice-president.
Massing worked at LNE for two years from 2019 to 2021 before a stint at Aser Ventures and then Outback Presents, where he was chief operating officer and then interim CEO for Robomagic Live.

Martinez leads Eventix’s Spanish drive
Eventix has appointed former Ticketmaster and AXS executive Rosa Martinez (pictured right) as its new country manager for Spain.
With an extensive background in ticketing, operations, and international growth, Martinez is charged with driving the Dutch company’s expansion efforts in the Spanish market.
Martinez brings over 20 years of international experience in the events and live events industry, having previously held key leadership roles in companies like Ticketmaster, AXS, Eventim and Utopia Music.
Eventix said the business will benefit from her track record in establishing and nurturing strategic partnerships to drive growth, coupled with her understanding of the Spanish market dynamics.
“I have dedicated most of my professional career to helping event organisers sell tickets and leverage the power of new technology. I am honoured to join a true independent market disruptor such as Eventix,” said Martinez. “Spain has a vibrant and diverse event landscape, with over 900 music festivals, and a lot of promising young event promoters looking to reinvent the business. I am confident Eventix will have a very positive impact in Spain, enhancing both organisers and visitors’ experiences.”
Duo switch to Flicket
Flicket has announced the arrival of Heather Hammond (pictured centre) as operations manager and Lisa Dalton as key account manager.
Hammond has a background in ticketing and operational leadership within the sports and entertainment sectors. She previously worked for Rugby World Cup 2011, FIFA U20 World Cup, Australian Open, and Melbourne Grand Prix.
Dalton’s expertise spans multiple ticketing systems, reporting, and the orchestration of large stadium venues across New Zealand and Australia. During her 12-year tenure with One New Zealand Warriors, Dalton was responsible for ticket promotion, pricing strategies, membership initiatives, and marketing endeavours.
Flicket chief executive Ben Calvert said: “Flicket takes immense pride in our high-performing, customer-focused team with a profound understanding of the event industry. With Lisa and Heather’s unparalleled expertise in orchestrating large-scale events, we enthusiastically welcome them into our family.”
Connor Cupples, the former operations manager at the now defunct Orchard Live, has become a national promoter for Crosstown Concerts.
Cupples began as a local promoter, developing as venue manager of Cardiff live music venue Gwdihw. His past shows include working with Thunder, You Me At Six and Rufus Wainwright.
The independent concert and festival promoter’s director, Conal Dodds, said: “Connor has been on my radar for a few years now and we are delighted to have him joining our team. He’s very well regarded across the industry and we look forward to him developing new opportunities for us across the UK.”
