English Premier League club Sheffield United has extended its partnership with SeatGeek after five years of utilising its ticketing technology.

As its primary ticketing technology partner, SeatGeek has worked with Sheffield to improve the end-to-end matchday experience, creating streamlined access to the club’s home ground, Bramall Lane.

“SeatGeek’s advanced technology and dedication to enhancing the fan experience have played a pivotal role in our ability to engage with our supporters in meaningful ways,” said Paul Reeves, head of commercial at Sheffield United.

“We’re excited to renew our partnership and continue to bring innovative ticketing solutions to our fans.”

SeatGeek is also utilised by fellow Premier League clubs Manchester City, Liverpool and Newcastle United. Additionally, SeatGeek has partnerships with a host of English Championship teams including Leicester City, Ipswich Town, Stoke City, Leeds United and Middlesborough.

Across the pond, SeatGeek is the ticketing partner of a number of clubs within Major League Soccer (MLS), the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) and the United Soccer League (USL).

Peter Joyce, managing director, EMEA, at SeatGeek, said: “We’re excited to build on the foundation we’ve created with Sheffield United over the past five years. Our mission is to continuously push the boundaries of what’s possible in ticketing technology, providing fans with seamless access to the clubs they love. Together with Sheffield United, we’re setting new benchmarks for fan engagement and operational efficiency in the Premier League.”

Earlier this month, SeatGeek was named as the primary ticketing partner of Scottish Premiership club, Rangers.
