Sales were due to commence on Tuesday, but the platform went down for 12 hours. While PSL organisers said the site was working on Wednesday, fans on social media continue to claim they are unable to gain access.
Tickets were due to go on sale at 5pm on February 6 ahead of next week’s season opener in Lahore. However, fans who visited the T20 cricket league’s website were not able to access the site.
PSL organisers took to social media to confirm a cyberattack and tell fans that its ticketing partner was addressing the issue. Posting at 5.48pm, it anticipated a swift resolution and said the platform would be operational again shortly.

However, it was not until 5am today (Feb 7) – almost 12 hours later – that the body confirmed that the ticketing platform was back online.

The six-team PSL 9 will commence with an opening ceremony and the first match on February 17 at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. Ticket prices for this event range from Rs 1,000 up to Rs 6,000 for VIP seats. The final match will take place on March 18 at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi.
Physical tickets have been made mandatory for all PSL 9 matches. E-tickets (self-printed or digital copies) will not be accepted for entry across the four venues throughout the tournament. Physical tickets will go on sale at designated TCS express centres from February 12. Tickets booked online can also be collected from TCS designated pick-up centres or can be home-delivered by TCS.
BookMe was the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) ticketing partner from 2021-23. However, the body has not revealed who is currently powering its ticketing service.
