The 13-strong boy band are among the world’s most successful K-Pop groups thanks in part to their dance-infused performances and EDM influences.

Seventeen’s exact set timings have not yet been confirmed, but it is guaranteed that the band will be playing on the biggest and most iconic stage of the festival.

Glastonbury is scheduled to take place from June 26-30 at Worthy Farm in Somerset.

The band’s announcement came in the confirmation of a first wave of acts from Glastonbury organisers.

Dua Lipa, SZA, and Coldplay are all due to headline the Pyramid stage across the festival’s three main days, while Canadian country music star Shania Twain is lined up for the Sunday afternoon legends slot.

Coldplay will become the first act to headline the Pyramid stage five times after performances in 2002, 2005, 2011, and 2016.

Dua Lipa’s billing comes a day after the announcement of her third album Radical Optimism. She first played Glastonbury in 2016, and then again the year after on the John Peel stage.

SZA is appearing at the festival for the first time, marking her rapid rise. Songs from her second album SOS, released in 2022, won three Grammys and she was also nominated for song, record, and album of the year.

Other Pyramid performers include Little Simz, LCD Soundsystem, Burna Boy, PJ Harvey, Cyndi Lauper, Janelle Monáe and Michael Kiwanuka.

On the second-biggest Other Stage, the likes of Idles, Disclosure, Two Door Cinema Club, Avril Lavigne, Bombay Bicycle Club, and The Streets are due to play.

The announcement was made later than usual but ends months of speculation, which now will turn to the secret sets.

The Killers and Kings of Leon have been tipped to take the spots due to gaps in their touring schedules around the time of the festival.
