Vivaticket and Mashfrog Group have teamed up to launch Ticket Wallet, a fully customised solution that will allow sports teams to manage access to venues in a digital manor.

Bologna-headquartered Vivaticket specialises in the designing, planning, marketing and management of integrated e-ticketing and access control systems. The firm offers integrated ticketing software solutions across the leisure, entertainment, sports, culture and trade show industries.

Mashfrog Group works across the entire digital business value chain.

Ticket Wallet is the result of integrating Vivaticket and SSO technology, so that fans can access a sports venue by showing a QR code on their mobile device. Supporters will further benefit from services such as bespoke content, gamification, push notifications, special offers and more.

Additional benefits include improved safety in managing venue tickets, reliability during network overload and blackout conditions, and an enhanced fan experience.

The first operational rollout of Ticket Wallet showed more than 10,000 downloads in just a dew days.

“We believe this partnership represents a fundamental step in the evolution of the sports market. The direction that the entertainment world has taken for some years now is to guarantee a complete and all-encompassing experience for its fans,” said Silvano Taiani, chief executive of Vivaticket.

“Fans are increasingly looking for a one-to-one relationship with their favourite team, and only a tool that allows for a very high level of content personalisation can meet their needs, thus allowing clubs to seize many new opportunities that are still ‘on hold’ by the low level of digitisation in this sector.”

Mashfrog Group CEO Edoardo Narduzzi added: “The partnership with Vivaticket represents a key step in our mission to deliver innovation in the ticketing sector. We’re thrilled to implement our high-quality cutting-edge solutions in the entertainment world.”
