Taylor Swift broke all attendance records at Stockholm’s Friends Arena during her recent string of shows in Sweden.

The singer played three nights as part of her Eras Tour, beating the records for the highest number of tickets sold for an event at the arena on each night.

Swift beat the previous attendance record on the first night, before beating her own record on the second night, and again on the third. The singer’s concerts took place from May 17-19.

On the final night, Swift performed in front of a crowd of 60,243 people.

Some 178,679 fans attended across the three nights, beating the previous record for a single artist of 167,160, which was set by Bruce Springsteen across three shows in 2013.

In Sweden, the tour was organised by MTG, AEG Presents and All Things Live Sweden.

Swift is set to perform two shows in Madrid tomorrow (Wednesday) and Thursday, before heading to Lyon’s Groupama Stadium on June 2 and 3.

The singer will then perform three shows at Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh, where she  is set to break further records.

Swift is expected to break artist Harry Styles’ previous benchmark, who played to just under 70,000 at the venue last year.
