Intix, an independent ticketing provider for sports in Australia, has opened its newest office in New York City as it expands its global presence.

The company has chosen New York City as its newest location to better serve its clientele in the US and wider region. The opening also follows a recent expansion to the UK.

“As we continue to grow and innovate, establishing a presence in one of the world’s major hubs for sports and entertainment allows us to provide more clients with unparalleled support and access to our industry-leading technology,” said Intix chief executive Alex Grant.

Intix claims that its platform enables organisations to streamline their ticketing processes, enhance customer experiences, and drive revenue growth.

The new office is aimed to further enhance its ability to provide service and support to its clients.

Intix vice-president of partnerships and operations in the USA Mark Gallego believes that the company could revolutionise the American sports and events market.

“Intix equips events with essential tools to boost efficiency, maximise value, and gain deeper insights into the complete customer journey,” he said.

“I’m excited to step into this position and believe that Intix will swiftly gain recognition in American sports, mirroring its success in Australia and the UK.”

Gallego will help to lead Intix’s expansion into the country, and has the backing of Grant.

“We are confident that Mark’s leadership and expertise will be instrumental in further strengthening our global position and elevating the event and fan experience,” Grant said.

“I will be in the USA in June for the SEAT Conference in Las Vegas and to meet with current and future clients as we solidify our expansion.”
