TicketRev signs deal with the Miami Marlins
Live event ticketing platform TicketRev has signed a three-year deal with the Miami Marlins Major League Baseball (MLB) team. The partnership will see the return of Make Your Pitch and the launch of Seat Upgrades. Make Your Pitch allows fans to name their own price for tickets, while Seat Upgrades allows fans to upgrade their current seats at Marlins home games. The Marlins have integrated TicketRev’s white-label solutions, offering high-end experiences at loanDepot Park while giving the organisation access to insights around fan behaviour.
Music Venue Trust continues with taxi app
The Music Venue Trust has continued its agreement with taxi app, FREENOW. The partnership is entering its third year and follows on from previous initiatives including underwriting 150 shows around the UK in 2022, donating £1 (€1.20/$1.30) a ride in 2023 and more. The round-up and donate function on the FREENOW app will now benefit the Music Venue Trust, with riders able to donate for each completed trip to support grassroots music venues.
HUMBL partners with the Oregon Blackbears
Digital technology platform HUMBL has expanded its partnership with the Oregon Blackbears indoor football team to deliver a digital ticketing programme and fan experience. HUMBL’s ticketing programme aims to enhance the fan experience, while providing unprecedented levels of security and authenticity in ticketing and merchandise.
The New York Islanders and UBS Arena launch app
The New York Islanders National Hockey League (NHL) team and UBS Arena has launched a new, dual-mode, joint mobile app designed to elevate fan and guest experience. The official New York Islanders and UBS Arena mobile app, developed by YinzCam, features exclusive team content and Islanders updates, as well as the ability to explore ticket offerings. It also offers access to users’ Ticketmaster account to view, sell or transfer tickets directly through the app.
