Port Vale Football Club has entered into a multi-year partnership with Ticketmaster Sport, which will see the latter serve as its new ticketing partner.
The club has previously worked with Ticketmaster for the Valiants’ victory in the 2022 League Two play-off final at Wembley Stadium in London.
Fans will still be able to purchase tickets in person at the club store and online via a new ticketing website.
“We are delighted to be working with Ticketmaster in what is an exciting step forward for our ticketing offering,” said Port Vale’s head of commercial Ritchie Bates.
“The innovation Ticketmaster has already shown and their ability to be quick when adapting and troubleshooting is aligned with how we want to operate digitally to ensure supporters have a positive experience when purchasing tickets online.
“Fan experience is important to us and we understand that online ticketing has been a point of concern for our supporters over recent seasons. We have now partnered with the global leader in the sports ticketing industry, who happens to be based right on our doorstep, to alleviate those problems and create a much slicker, easier-to-use platform.
“Ticketmaster’s fan journey is fantastic, supporters who wish to use e-tickets will also be able to add season tickets and match-by-match tickets to their phone’s wallet.”
Port Vale claims that supporters can expect to see a stronger ticketing platform that is easy to navigate when making purchases.
Priority ticketing points and contact details will also be automatically transferred across to the new platform.
