Our weekly tech round-up from the world of ticketing and associated industries…
In the loop
Chatloop, a shared experience app, has announced a new partnership with Manchester venue Co-op Live. The deal is Chatloop’s first collaboration with a live music arena, and will adapt how audiences interact, share and remember live events. Co-op Live will utilise experience-sharing technology within its website to create a collective story. Fans will scan a QR code around the 23,500-seat venue to upload ‘Loops’ – photos, videos, mentions and comments, directly on Co-op Live’s website.
Powering payments
Integrated payments and commerce technology provider Shift4 has been chosen to power San Diego FC’s ticketing transactions. San Diego is the most recent US city to be awarded an MLS (Major League Soccer) expansion team, and will begin competing from the 2025 season.
Satisfi Labs acquires Factoreal
Satisfi Labs, an AI-powered conversational experience platform for destinations and experiences, has acquired Factoreal, an omnichannel marketing automation platform. Factoreal’s API-first integration network is already utilised by brands such as Shopify, SeatGeek and Ticketmaster. Factoreal will be integrated with the Satisfi Labs platform over the next year.
No morę lining up
Ticketing software business Line-Up has integrated with Society of London Theatre and UK Theatre to offer customers online redemption of Theatre Tokens. The move means that any venue using Line-Up as a primary ticketing platform will now be able to accept Theatre Tokens online as payment or part-payment for tickets.
