Pacific shoots for revenue growth with Playfly Aspire

The University of the Pacific’s athletics department has teamed up with Playfly Aspire with a focus on enhancing fan experiences and maximising revenue.

Playfly Aspire is a sports and entertainment marketing firm, specialising in consultancy, driving ticket sales and partnership services.

The firm’s on-site Fan Relationship Management Center will be used for sponsorship sales, service and activation, taking care of the growth of the Pacific Athletics Fund through donor acquisition and upsells, as well as selling across Pacific’s seven ticketed sports.

Additionally, Pacific will have access to Playfly Aspire’s strategy, analytics and marketing team throughout the multi-year partnership, consulting on data-driven decisions around ticket pricing, menu creation and fan engagement.

California-based Pacific is the seventh West Coast Conference member to partner with Playfly Aspire. The West Coast Conference is a collegiate sports conference affiliated with the National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA) Division I.

“We are thrilled to partner with Playfly Aspire to elevate our ticket sales efforts and enhance the overall fan experience. Playfly Aspire’s expertise and dedication to excellence align perfectly with our vision for Pacific Athletics, and we look forward to achieving great success together,” said Pacific’s director of athletics Adam Tschuor.

Playfly Aspire president and chief executive Bill Fagan added: “As we embark on this exciting journey with Pacific, we’re thrilled to join forces with the Tigers to elevate their athletics program to new heights. At Playfly Aspire, our all-inclusive approach underscores a commitment to enhancing the overall fan experience while ensuring the long-term success of our partners.

“Relationships are best served locally, which is why we are installing a dedicated three-person team to engage Pacific’s rich community of alumni, donors, and corporate sponsors. Together with the Tigers, we look forward to learning, teaching, and achieving remarkable milestones.”
